Recently, I was asked by a client to install a car rental booking engine on a WordPress site.
After trying 3 or 4 “out of the box” solutions, I couldn’t find anything satisfactory, so – in conjuction with my developer – I’ve written a comprehensive Car Hire Booking Engine plugin!

Thanks for your comment. Yes we do sell it, however it is currently a customised solution (each one tailored to the clients needs).
However, we are planning to develop it into a full WordPress plugin over the next 3 – 4 months.
There is currently a demo in development, but it’s not ready yet.

We’ve been mostly concentrating on our other plugin, the WordPress Extra Comment Fields.
The car rental software is currently installed and working on a few sites, but it is a rather mammoth project in comparison because there are so many features.
In this respect it’s difficult to wrap it up in a “do everything” plugin. So for the time being we’re focusing on providing custom versions to those who are happy to invest in it.
