End of Life for version 2.02 and below

Today we re-confirm the end of life for version 2.02 and below – only 1 month left to upgrade!

If you have an older version of the WordPress Extra Fields Plugin (version 2.02 and below), you will need to upgrade ASAP.  You can check which version you have by logging into your WP admin and clicking on >> Plugins  >> WP Extra Comments Fields, where the version should be displayed.

Don’t worry – upgrade for FREE to the latest version – it’s heaps better!!  To do that you just need to;

1) Create a new account on our new accounts & support system

2) Open a support ticket and we will send you the download link.

You will need to provide the original sign up name, PayPal email address or some other identifying factor of the user who bought the older version, so that we can verify your old purchase on our system.

We will be “Switching Off” version 2.02 (and below) as of the end of March 2013 – so don’t delay! When the plugin is switched off, it may cease to function on your installation – so do get in touch if you have one of these older plugins.

Sorry in advance for any inconvenience, but the old versions are no longer compatible with our updated systems and we feel better able to provide support for our latest versions.

We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your continued support.

 

Extra Comment Fields version 2.24

Today we have released a minor version update for the WP Extra Comment Fields plugin.  The new version (2.24) addresses a category bug that crept in during the last version! Our apologies if you had any issues.

What this plugin does

The standard WordPress comments form is restricted only to name, URL, email and comments.  With our powerful plugin (we call ECF), you can make your standard WordPress Comment Form extra useful by adding your own, customised fields.

ECF version 2.20 pre-release preview

We are pleased to announce the upcoming release of the WordPress Extra Comment Field version 2.20.  This version is due for release in the next week or three (depending on testing).

This version wraps up a lot of the changes to the previous versions, adds some additional functionality and fixes a few other remaining issues, as well as introducing a brand new plugin admin design that simplifies editing and keeps everything on one page.
