Preamble: Bottom line = we want to ensure everyone is happy!  We do try to produce plugins and scripts that people will find useful and are happy to support by paying a small fee (where applicable).

No one wants you to feel cheated. That’s not the aim of our business.  If it was, we wouldn’t be in business! We want you to be happy so that you’ll tell your friends! No really, we do.  We are not quite Buddhists, but we believe in Karma – you get back what you give out.

Bear in mind that we offer this service for little or no profit – so spare a thought for us in that regard before making a complaint.  Obviously we want you to be a happy customer.

However, a recent situation occurred that made us realise we should probably adopt more formal terms and conditions…… Call it transparency, call it the corporate vulture culture, or whatever! So here we are…. hopefully, now everyone is crystal clear

If you have a query about a plugin, please do let us know before you buy it.  We do care that you get what you need (even if you can’t “get what you want” as Mick Jagger said)!

Please read these terms before purchasing. You should also read and make sure you understand any pre-purchase installation / help files to determine if the Software will meet your requirements.

The purchase of any “plugin” (Software) comes with a standard license and a specific returns and support policy.

The purchase of any plugin constitutes your acceptance of these terms and licensing agreement.

Support Terms

• We will provide support based on the plugin support option purchased and as specified on the relevant plugin page.
• Support is provided for standard installations.  Additional “non-standard” modifications (i.e. you want to do something not outlined in the installation instructions) may be subject to additional fees, of which you will be notified.
• We will always be upfront and polite with you and try to offer our best advice, even if we feel your issue is not within the realms of our guidelines.
• Support is limited to assisting you with ensuring you have a stable plugin working on your site.
• Support hours are indicated on the contact page.

Returns / Refunds Policy:

Because our products are downloadable, we are unable to receive returns.

We will not be obligated to provide a refund to you, for any circumstance, including (but not limited to) where you;

• change your mind
• decide the plugin is not fit for / suitable for your purpose
• find it is not to your satisfaction
• have other reasons for not using /requiring a plugin

In exceptional circumstances, we may consider a full or partial refund at our sole discretion. Note that we are not obligated to do so and any decision made is final.

Standard License Agreement

By buying a plugin, you agree to the following license terms.  The license grants you, the Purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferrable right to make use of the software that you acquire (Software).

Your use of the Software, under the license, is subject to the following conditions (unless specified as different):

(a) Your use of the Software is limited to a single application.

(b) Where the software is an installable Software application designed to help perform singular specific tasks, the use of the software is limited to a single concurrent usage. In these cases, the “single application” of the Software is its installation.

(c) You may use the Software alone or you may incorporate the Software into other work you are creating.

(d) Unless you have our prior written consent, you must not directly or indirectly license, sub-license, sell or resell or provide for free the software or offer to do any of these things. All of these things are referred to as Resale.

(e) You may reproduce the Software on a website.

(f) You may use the Software in a work which you are creating for your own purposes or for your client who has asked you to create it.

(g) You must not incorporate the Software in a work which is created for Resale by you or your client.

(h) You may edit, modify and use the Software to suit your website or that of your client’s website.

(i) Notwithstanding the restriction on Resale, if you acquire the Software on behalf of your client you may recoup from your client the cost of acquiring the Software.

(j) If the whole, or part, of the software has been created using materials which are the subject of a GNU General Public License (GPL), your use of the Work (or part Work) is subject to the specific terms of the GPL in place of the foregoing conditions (to the extent the GPL applies).

In the end (or was it the beginning!?) God created life on earth so that it might flourish, mature, expand and grow.  Ostensibly, this can only be achieved through mutual co-operation, respect and support.   All humans are brothers and sisters. Brothers and Sisters may squabble (yes, I realise that war and violence is more than a squabble, but hey, I’m just trying to make a small point here), however, in the end they must realise that only endurance, love and friendship, help and support can create mutual learning, strength and growth between people.
